Studio Møbel

Studio Møbel is a showroom located in The Hague filled with second-hand & new design furniture and art. Open for the public since 2022, Jurrian Langewen has passionately shared his interest in interior architecture and furniture design with as many people as possible. In the past year, KABK alumni Michelle De Cort joined the team, supporting Studio Møbel with putting a greater focus on art and upcoming local design.

Jurrian created Studio Møbel after recovering from a severe traffic accident in 2018. In the years prior to the accident, he had a store in the Haagse Bluf specializing in second-hand clothing, design and coffee, which is how he brought his years of experience to the Koningin Emmaplein. His persistent love for design drove him to start a new adventure, realizing a new place for design and its community.

Creating more awareness within interior design is at the core of Studio Møbel. This translates not only into selling pre-loved pieces, but also into the Møbelstoffeerderij where the vintage finds and commissioned pieces are being reupholstered with quality fabrics. Furthermore, Jurrian envisions the Studio to be more than just a shop, namely functioning as a creative social hub for The Hague and a platform for new local talent, artists, designers, makers, entrepreneurs and enthousiasts.
