Michelle De Cort is a Belgian artist and designer, based in the cities of Antwerp and The Hague. Her work stems from the core of spacial design and expands into the concept of visual arts, ceramics and storytelling. Her childlike positivism and color-choices is an ode to her childhood, having grown up between nature’s elements such as water, siblings, and animals. The lightness and playfulness in her work do not negate the quality and research that is lucidly embedded. A hands-on approach is rooted in her multi-disciplined and detail-oriented work. This all together shapes the foundation from which Michelle is able to eagerly build tangible creations, originating from a simple conceptual idea.
